Some Randomness-

Holy Moly - 2 posts in less than a month? I'm on a roll! Well, not really. Credit ot to a little down time at work and a great smart phone that lets me download my pics straight to my work computer. :) For the longest time-actually since Chris and I have been married, I've been trying to grow my hair out (from a very short, layered a-line, bob). I was very patient, and with the help of prenatal pills everyday and two pregnancies, I was able to get it pretty long. The problem is...I get stuck in a rut. I feel like I have one of two choices...straighten it (it's already bone straight-so if you can imagine getting it more than straight that's what I did), curl it, and then pull it back in a pony. I was never actually "styling" it. And on days where I wasn't even attempting to do anything with it, I swayed towards my trusty ball cap-cute, but never the less "blah". PLUS on top of all that I always get the urge to cut my bangs. WELL NOT ANYMORE!! I got brave and chopped my hairs. :) Not all at once though. Please see below for the 2 "Before(s)" and one "After" pictures. Don't mind that this was taken sans makeup back in January. So it was a little longer when I cut it mid March. My hair grows SUPER FAST, so it was probably a good couple inches longer than this. Here we have the "I'm too chicken/attached to my long hair to cut it off all at once" haircut. This was taken after cutting off 8 inches. And here we have the finished cut, just two days later. Another 5 inches off. If I would have done it all at once I could've donated 13 inches to Locks of Love-dang it! Anyways, my friend Stefanie cut it, and she did a fabulous job! I love love love it. And short hair means I HAVE TO STYLE IT! No more just rolling out of bed and throwing it in a pony...plus this gives me the opportunity to let my bangs catch up with the rest of my hair. I'm tired of my bangs. :P In other news, my little Cody man is going through a lot of changes. He is growing like a weed, thanks to a great diet of 45% breastmilk, 50% formula, and a little bit of rice cereal and vegetables (baby food). He looks sooo chunky in this pic, I love it. He is a tiny bit bigger than Clay was at this age but not by much-hey he's just a little stalkier! (that's what I like to call it. "Fat" isn't a very nice word at my house.) He sits in his little jumper and twirls around on one foot. He is the wigglest baby ever! He has a hard time staying still. He isn't hardly fussy, just feels the need to move, A LOT! Sometimes it's hard to get a clear pic of him cause he is always moving. He's a smiler too-loves to "talk" and hear the sound of his own voice. Chris finds ways to entertain his energy. And I am just totally "IN LOVE" with him. Last but not least, I was wanting to put a new pic of Clay on here, but he's really picky about me taking his picture lately. So I decided to post some of his art projects from school. I think they were doing an "Under the Sea" theme the past week because this is what he has brought home: Here, we have a random Caterpillar. And that's all I have for ya. Hope to be back on here very soon. It's been nice being able to blog without any interruption.
